I am just surfing around and found this website that seems to have made a connection to almost all ancient religions of this world, via the story of the Deluge, or the Great Flood.
It seems that every lore / ancient history has an epic flood story to tell, so...

Almost every ancient culture across the world has a story about a massive, world-ending flood. Even though these stories come from completely different times and places, they share a common theme: a flooded world wipes away the old, allowing humanity to start over fresh.
1. Middle East & Mesopotamia
The Epic of Gilgamesh (Babylonian): The gods get annoyed because humans are being too loud. A god named Enlil decides to flood the world, but another god secretly warns a man named Utnapishtim. He builds a huge boat, saves his family and animals, and survives a 6-day storm.
Noah’s Ark (Abrahamic - Bible & Quran): God sees that people are acting wickedly and decides to cleanse the Earth. Noah, a good man, builds a massive wooden ark for his family and pairs of every animal. It rains for 40 days and nights until the ark lands safely on a mountain.
The Epic of Atrahasis (Akkadian): Humanity grows too large and noisy, making the gods angry. After plagues fail to stop the noise, a flood is sent. A man named Atrahasis builds a ship to save life on Earth.
2. Asia & Southeast Asia
Yu the Great (China): Unlike other stories where gods punish humans, this flood was a natural disaster when the Yellow River overflowed. Instead of building a boat, Yu the Great saved the land through engineering—building canals and channels to drain the water into the sea.
Matsya the Fish (Hindu): A man named Manu saves a tiny fish, which turns out to be the god Vishnu in disguise. The fish warns Manu of a coming flood and grows enormous. Manu builds a ship, ties it to the giant fish's horn, and is pulled safely to the mountains.
The Gabang Flood (Malaysia): Indigenous stories tell of a global flood caused by human misdeeds. A brother and sister survived by sailing up a mountain in a special boat called a Gabang, restarting humanity afterward.
3. Europe
The Blood Flood (Norse): This flood isn't made of water, but blood. When the gods kill the first giant, Ymir, so much blood spills out that it drowns almost all the other giants. Only one giant couple escapes inside a hollow tree trunk.
Deucalion and Pyrrha (Greek): The king of the gods, Zeus, gets furious at human wickedness and floods the Earth. Deucalion and his wife build a floating chest to survive. Afterward, they throw rocks ("the bones of Mother Earth") over their shoulders, which magically turn into new people.
4. The Americas
The Fourth Sun (Aztec): Aztec legends say the world is destroyed and recreated in cycles. The fourth world was destroyed by 52 years of non-stop rain. People turned into fish to survive, while one couple hid inside a hollow tree.
The Wooden People (Maya): The gods try to make humans out of wood, but the wooden people are mean and forget to pray. The gods send a flood of thick liquid to wash them away.
Waynaboozhoo (Ojibwe / Native American): Evil water serpents flood the Earth during a fight. The hero Waynaboozhoo floats on a raft with wild animals and asks a muskrat to dive deep to scoop up mud, which is used to rebuild the land.
5. Africa & Oceania
Olokun’s Rage (Yoruba - West Africa): The sea goddess Olokun gets angry because another god created dry land without asking her. She unleashes massive ocean waves to drown the land until the supreme god calms her down.
Tiddalik the Frog (Aboriginal Australian): A giant frog drinks all the fresh water on Earth, causing a drought. The other animals trick him into laughing, causing all the water to burst out of his mouth at once and create a massive deluge.
