On Healing:
  • 1 Kings 17:22
    • (22) The Lord heard Elijah’s cry, and the boy’s life returned to him, and he lived.
On Support:
  • Exodus 17:11-13
    • (11) As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. (12) When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset. (13) So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword.
On DPS:
  • 2 Kings 1:10-12
    • (10) Elijah answered the captain, “If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!” Then fire fell from heaven and consumed the captain and his men. (11) At this the king sent to Elijah another captain with his fifty men. The captain said to him, “Man of God, this is what the king says, ‘Come down at once!’” (12) “If I am a man of God,” Elijah replied, “may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!” Then the fire of God fell from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men.
On Raids and Trials:
  • Luke 9:54
    • (54) When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, “Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?”
On Character Ascension:
  • 2 Kings 2:11
    • (11) As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.
On Divine Battles:
  • Matthew 11:12
    • (12) From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it.
For the Origin of the Hidden Blade:
  • Judges 3:16-22
    • (16) Now Ehud had made a double-edged sword about a cubit long, which he strapped to his right thigh under his clothing. (17) He presented the tribute to Eglon king of Moab, who was a very fat man. (18) After Ehud had presented the tribute, he sent on their way those who had carried it. (19) But on reaching the stone images near Gilgal he himself went back to Eglon and said, “Your Majesty, I have a secret message for you.” The king said to his attendants, “Leave us!” And they all left. (20) Ehud then approached him while he was sitting alone in the upper room of his palace and said, “I have a message from God for you.” As the king rose from his seat, (21) Ehud reached with his left hand, drew the sword from his right thigh and plunged it into the king’s belly. (22) Even the handle sank in after the blade, and his bowels discharged. Ehud did not pull the sword out, and the fat closed in over it.
On Worship:
  • Philippians 1:18
    • (18) But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,
When we have regrets:
  • 1 John 1:8-10
    • (8) If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. (9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (10) If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
When we feel disobedient:
  • Romans 11:32
    • (32) For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.
What our mindsets should be:
  • Matthew 18:3
    • (3) And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
The Precepts:
  • Hebrews 7:18-19
    • (18) The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless (19) (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.
