When you have already lost your innocence

Proverbs 24:23–25

[23] These also are sayings of the wise:

To show partiality in judging is not good:

[24] Whoever says to the guilty, “You are innocent,”

will be cursed by peoples and denounced by nations.

[25] But it will go well with those who convict the guilty,

and rich blessing will come on them.

Job 22:28-30

[28] What you decide on will be done,

    and light will shine on your ways.

[29] When people are brought low and you say, ‘Lift them up!’

    then he will save the downcast.

[30] He will deliver even one who is not innocent,

    who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.”
